Prashant – Nice work. Thinking about it set me off to Google and I found a couple of things that might amuse you. WIRED ran an article in which writers contributed six-word stories. It is here: https://www.wired.com/2006/11/very-short-stories Then I came across I short-short story I did not know, but one I am sure you have read, ANSWER by Fredric Brown. And it is here: http://www.roma1.infn.it/~anzel/answer.html
Thank you, Elgin, and for the links too. I shall take a look. Six word stories? Wow! That's cutting it really close. I have not read ANSWER but now I will. How short can a short story go?
Thank you, Tracy. I invented the term DRUBBLE after 50-word DRIBBLE and 100-word DRABBLE. Well, my dog is a cross between a stray and a Doberman, and she's not very big, about medium. I had her in mind when I wrote this little bit!
Not sure I want to face off with that dog. :)
ReplyDeleteCharles, I often wonder what dogs must be thinking when their masters take them out on a leash. Maybe, they would like a role reversal.
DeleteOh, I like this very much, Prashant!! Very well done, and a great glimpse of a dog's way of thinking.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Margot. It was originally a short story idea but I never got around to writing it.

DeleteVery nice drubble, Prashant. I had heard of a dribble and a drabble, but not a drubble. How big is this dog?
